Denise Wright, retired
Denise is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). She is a Certified Daily Money Manager (CDMM®).
Denise worked at a major law firm for 15 years during which time she specialized in commercial foreclosures. Starting in 1991, she took 13 years off to raise her two daughters. She resumed her working career in 2005 as a paralegal for an estates and trusts attorney and for 7 years concentrated in estate administration. She was responsible for all aspects of estate administration in the office, including the preparation of all filings with the Orphans’ Court and federal and state estate tax returns.
Linda L. Smit
Linda is a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). She is a Certified Daily Money Manager (CDMM®) and is the past Regional Coordinator of the AADMM MD/DC Suburban Area.
Linda has worked as a Paralegal concentrating in Estate Administration since 1995. Prior to that she owned and operated a retail business. Linda is familiar with all aspects of Estate Administration, including Court and tax filings. Her many years of experience are particularly helpful to her clients when making the difficult decisions they are faced with throughout the probate process.
Linda received her B.A. degree in Finance and Accounting from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland (now Notre Dame of Maryland University) and graduated as a member of the Delta Mu Delta Business Administration honor society. She also received a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and has taken courses in fiduciary income tax at Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University).
Kathleen Basham
Kathleen Basham discovered daily money management after a long career serving Baltimore-based, non-profit arts organizations, including the Walters Art Museum (Chief Operating officer, 2012–2022, the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts (Chief Operating Officer, 2007–2012), and the Baltimore Museum of Art (Associate Director, 1995–1999). Earlier in her career, Basham was the VP of Audit Services for I. Magnin, a 30-store retail chain based in San Francisco, California. Among her many achievements, she was a recipient of the Baltimore Business Journal’s Best CFO of 2018.
Anne Porterfield
Anne is a member of American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM)
Anne graduated from Trinity College in Harford CT with a BS in Economics. After working for a bank in NYC she became the Vice President in charge of Health Care Lending at the former Maryland National Bank. In 1995 she left banking to raise her 3 children and earned a Masters in Education at Towson University in 2004. From 2004-2018 she worked as a reading specialist at a private middle school for underserved boys in Baltimore City. Throughout that time, she helped her elderly relatives with their banking and financial needs; she enjoys working with numbers, people and follow up on detailed transactions.
